Term and Conditions for the Booking

GENERAL INFORMATIONS
Venice Holiday Apartments limited arrange bookings of holiday accommodations in the city of Venice, as agent for the owner of the apartments,
CONDITIONS FOR THE VALIDITY OF THE CONTRACT
Once you have chosen the apartment where you would like to spend your holiday, you must contact us to check the availability of the apartment for the dates you require. Then with the confirmation of the availability we will send you our bank details where you will send us the required deposit (10% of the value of the rent) or your credit card details as garantee of your booking. Only when we have received your payment or your credit card details will we consider the booking done.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Our guests have to pay the balance between the deposit and the total of the amount of the rent in Venice. The balance has to be paid to our representative in Venice who will explain the terms and conditions.
All payment from foreign banks must be received net of bank charge: where bank charges are deducted we reserve the right to deduct those charges from the final payment
CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING BY THE “VENICE HOLIDAY APARTMENTS”
In the case of cancellation of the holiday accommodation, we will inform you as soon as possible and we will make all the effort to find you another accommodation of a similar type and standard as originally requested. If the alternative holiday accommodation is not accepted we will refund you completely and shall be under no other liability.
CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING BY THE GUEST
Any cancellation for any reason made by our guest must be notified as soon as possible by e-mail or fax.
The notification of your cancellation will be effective from the date received by us.
If you cancel the booking 8 weeks before your departure we will be entitled to not give any refund of your deposit and reservation payment.
ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY
The representative of Venice Holiday Apartments and the owner of the apartments shall be allowed access to the apartment at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy for the purpose of inspection.
PEOPLE USING THE ACCOMODATION
The number of people using the apartments must not exceed the number specified in the property description with-out prior written agreement by us. In the case the number of people is exceeded Venice Holiday Apartments reserve the right to charge the additional guests or to refuse or revoke the booking.
GUEST’S RESPONSIBILITY
Our guest must keep the holiday apartment and all the furniture in the same state of repair and condition in which they were found. The guest has the duty to leave the apartments in condition of cleanliness and order.
The guest is responsible for all damage or loss which occurs to the property and to the furniture of the property. Any damage to the property or to the furniture entitle Venice Holiday Apartments ltd to demand compensation for the damage. The compensation has to be paid to our representative or to the owner of the apartment.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
In case one of our guest is not satisfied with one of the holiday apartment they must first contact our representative who will do their best to solve the problem. If you are still not satisfied you must contact us. If after that you are not still not satisfied you must write to us and we will forward your comments to the owner of the apartments.
RESPONSIBILITY OF VENICE HOLIDAY APARTMENT
Venice Holiday Apartment will not be responsible for any death or personal injury, unless this results from our own proven negligence.
